TO ALL TOWN RESIDENTS: Beginning January 1, 2012 a new law pertaining to the disposal of electronic waste such as television sets, monitors, computers, cell phones, lap tops, etc. went into effect. According to the law, the local garbage hauler can no longer pick up these items. Residents can drop these items off at the Rockland County Solid Waste Management Authority (RCSWMA) Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility located at Fireman's Drive, Pomona, NY or they can be brought to various manufacturer's registered drop off locations.
